  • The All-Movie Guide, besides linking movies to actors, also links movies to other, similar movies. Great for deciding what to rent! The info seems to be accurate: "AMG material is written by experts in the field."
  • The Internet Movie Database is much more current than the All-Movie Guide, so it's perfect for figuring out who was in the movie you just saw, and what else they've been in, etc. It includes info about future movie releases, too. However, I don't know how much you can trust what you can read here: it seems that any reader can add whatever info they want.
  • Have you ever played the Kevin Bacon six degrees of separation game? Basically, the idea is that almost any two actors can be linked together by a chain of movies connecting actors with other actors they've worked with.
